These are not preachy stories from doctors or therapists but real stories from parents just like you who are facing the challenges each day of ADHD.

Here is an excerpt from one story:

Every professional I took him to said the same thing: “There's nothing wrong with him. You just don't know how to parent an active little boy.” I cannot tell you how disheartening that was; because I knew that I wasn't a bad mom. I knew that something wasn't right with my child. Finally, after I lost my job because of the phone calls from the daycare on a constant basis, we got a diagnosis from a pediatric behavior specialist. Tyler was placed on medications to control his behavior and to help him sleep.

That was about a year ago, and since then life is a lot more pleasant. I have my little boy back! More importantly, we have a relationship now that we would never have had otherwise. I am so glad that I went with my maternal instincts, and never gave up on him or on myself. I pushed and pushed for an answer...and I advise all parents to do the same. If you think there is something going on with your child's mental health, don't be afraid of it. Fight for your child's well being, no matter how long it takes for the right answers to come your way.

This is just a small sampling of the 50 other stories in this book. This book is so comforting to those who are raising families and living with ADHD. Please try this book for your child's sake.
